Transit( wayfinding system)
As a part of my personal project in college, this WAYFINDING system was an idea to help and guide people through Thrissur and enhance their understanding and the experience of the space. Navigating and exploring is fundamental to every human and hence a WAYFINDING system was a great way to make the true Thrissur accessible to people.
Logo
The shape of the logo is inspired by the navigation compass symbolising direction. If you look closer, the logo looks like a bird in flight expressing the freedom of movement. A bird is one that’s always migrating from point A to B. The circular shape symbolises the never-ending, infinite nature of a journey. Also, the type case was created keeping in mind the free-flowing nature of the movement.
Campaign
The campaign is divided into 4 parts where each part explains a part of
Trissur in a way that when it’s put together it explains the whole.
Newspaper Ad
The objective was to show people the untouched and unexplored parts of
Thrissur found exclusively through WAYFINDING system.
Web page
The website is designed in a way that looks like a bird’s eye view of Thrissur.
